The SFMNP (Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program) Voucher will be distributed within the month of June 2025.
Specific distribution dates for each Center will be
posted once the vouchers are received and prepped. Distribution will occur at
each of the following Active Aging Centers: Bair Family Center, Linesville –
Cambridge Springs Center – Canadohta Lake Center – Meadville Center and
Titusville Center.
The Requirements to receive the vouchers are:
Resident of Crawford County, 60 years of age or older,
meets income eligibility requirements, and cannot include seniors who are
living in nursing home facilities, convents and residential facilities where
meals are provided.
All eligibility requirements will be listed on the application. Applications will be housed at each of the previously mentioned Centers.
Each eligible person will receive 5 vouchers at $5 each for a total of $25.

Pennsylvania Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program
- This program provides low-income older adults with checks to buy fresh fruits and vegetables grown in Pennsylvania.
- The age requirement is 60 years or older (by December 31, 2025), and the older adult must meet income eligibility guidelines.
- Each eligible older adult receives five $5.00 checks for a total benefit of $25.00 one-time during the program year.
- Checks are distributed annually between June and September. The last day for redemption is November 30.
- Applications are available at each Center for the 2025 year beginning June 2025.
Terms and Conditions
- One application is good for a married couple.
- Proxy forms are available please call your local center for more information.
- Call the appropriate location if you have questions on completing the application.
- Checks must be redeemed by November 30th of the occurring year.
- Checks can only be redeemed at participating farmer’s markets.
- Checks cannot be used in a grocery store. Checks must be redeemed in full; no change can be given.
- Checks can only be received and used by the eligible voucher holder.
- Only fruits and vegetables grown in Pennsylvania or purchased by the participating farmer’s market directly from a farmer in a neighboring state can be purchased with the checks.
